Dee Courtney Dee was a Finalist of Warsaw EUDC and a Quarter-Finalist of Malaysia WUDC and Thessaloniki WUDC. She was a Finalist of the Cambridge IV, a Semi-Finalist of the Oxford IV and has broken as a speaker at more than a dozen other competitions. She was the winner of the UCD IV, the Cork Open and the top speaker at four competitions. As a judge, Dee progressed to the EFL Semi-Final at Dutch WUDC and has broken at more than a dozen competitions including chairing the ESL Final of the Trinity IV, the Novice Final of the Cork IV and the Semi-Final of the Paris Open. Dee has been a CA of the Trinity IV, the SOAS Open and the Imperial IV along with four other competitions. She was also recently announced as DCA for Scottish EUDC 2018! Owen Mooney Owen is Worlds semi and Euros quarter finalist. He won 15 competitions including Ljubljana, Manchester, Birmingham, UCD, Cork Open and Durham Open. His top 10 best speaker awards include Ljubljana, Durham IV, Scottish Mace and Imperial IV. Munich Open will be his 11th CAship, previous ones include Edinburgh Cup, UCD IV, and Trinity Open. And, of course, he's the 2017 European Champion! Sharmila Parmanand Simply put, Sharmila is one of the most accomplished debaters and judges in the world. As a Speaker, she spoke at Australs Grand Final and WUDC Open Octo and won the Asian Championship three times in a row. She was Co-CA of the Berlin World Universities Debate Championships 2013, the 2016 US National Championships, the 2016 Pan-American Championships, and the 2011 Asian BP Championships. She was DCA for the 2010 and 2011 Austral-Asian Championships, the 2014 North American Debate Championship, and the 2010 United Asian Debating Championship. She has judged the World Universities Open Grand Final twice and Open Semi Finals three times, and has taught debate in over 30 countries. In addition, she is the prospective Co-CA of the Athens EUDC 2019 bid. Paul Smith Paul is originally from New Zealand, but is currently living and working in London. Paul will be a DCA at Mexico WUDC 2018, and he broke as a judge at EUDC 2016 and Dutch Worlds, and judged the ESL Final at Chennai Worlds. As a debater, he was a semi-finalist at Thessaloniki Worlds, an octo-finalist at Malaysia worlds and reached the semi final of two Australs tournaments (2010 and 2012) as well as being an Australs top-ten speaker in 2012. Melda Eren As a speaker Melda broke at EUDC 3 consecutive times, and was an ESL Semi-finalist and Top 10 ESL Speaker at EUDC 2015. She broke at over 30 competitions and won Erasmus Rotterdam Open & Patras Open, while losing more than 15 finals including Berlin IV 2017, Vienna IV 2017, Budapest Open 2017, UCL IV 2017 (ESL) and many more. Additionally she was a top 10 speaker of more than 20 tournaments including being best speaker at Sofia Open 2017, Tilbury House IV 2014 and Riga Mini 2017. Her adjudication experience includes CAing Serbian Summer Debate Camp 2017, Istanbul Open 2017, Smolny Open (St. Petersburg) 2017, VDCH Debating Academy 2017 , Tilbury House IV 2016, Munich Open 2016 and SUIDC 2016. |
